41 years old Carles Puyol left Barcelona in 2014 with a final retiring, at present, the club’s former captain for ten seasons is getting ready to return to his home but with a different job.
Puyol will be a sport directorate, this rumor was confirmed by Josep Bartomeu President of Barcelona, according to Spanish press.
He said ” we are making conversations about his return to the team, we hope to reach an agreement because of his significant knowledge about football and our club, as long as he wasn’t working anywhere, he has become more prepared.
If the world’s former champion with Spain in 2010, reached an agreement with the Catalans then Puyol will be Eric Abidal colleague, they were colleagues at the time they were players in Barcelona, therefore the Catalonian group will have two of its former players as sport directorates.
