Real Madrid sign a goalkeeper made in of Barcelona instead of Keylor Navas

Real Madrid do not want to be discovered on the goalkeeper’s post, after Thibaut Courtois’s reserve, Keylor Navas, no longer stood on the bench and asked to leave. According to the Spanish publication Ace, the Madrilenians turned to Pepe Reina, raised by rival Barcelona.

If Navas comes to PSG in the Neymar business, then Reina could sign with Real, especially since the goalkeeper matches the profile required by Madrid, and Berbabeu officials know that the move would not be complicated at all.

Reina is now legitimized in Milan, where he is Donarrumma’s reserve, and his departure is a light one, considering her age. The Spaniard will turn 37 on August 31. Reina would be legitimized at Real just one year, until the end of the season, when the 20-year-old Ukrainian, Andrii Lunin, will return to Santiago Bernabeu, after the loan to Valladolid.

In addition, Reina would not mind the reserve status, not necessarily because of her age, but also in view of his “background”, as the quoted source notes. Specifically, Reina was the reserve of Iker Casillas even in the big tournaments won by Spain: two European and one world Cup.

The only problem for Reina, however, would be the fact that he was raised by the great rival of Madrid, Barcelona. The goalkeeper evolved in the Catalan junior between 1995 and 1999, and then went on to all Barca age categories, until he reached the first team, where he played between 2000 and 2002.

Reina’s experience is a huge one, considering that he has evolved in big clubs, such as Liverpool, Naples, Bayern Munich or Milan. At the national team of Spain>

In the position of goalkeeper, Real has only in the lot Courtois and Keylor Navas, after Zinedine Zidane’s son, Luca, was transferred to Racing, and Ukrainian Andriy Lunin to Valladolid.
