Diego Costa sentenced in Spain – how much to pay in order to escape

Diego Costa was convicted with tax fraud, and like Messi and Ronaldo he has to pay a fine to avoid the jail.  

The Spanish of Brazilian origin will pay 1.7 million euro to Spain tax court, which opened a file against him on the charge of tax fraud, according to El Mundo.

Diego Costa signed an agreement with the tax office regarding taxes about his photo rights in 2014, according to the newspaper

The agreement which became officially before the court on 4 October in Madrid, specifies the attacker to return 1.1 million euro, what is total of unpaid taxes and he will be convicted for six months, a sanction could be avoid in case of paying 600,000 euro fine.

The prosecutor says, the 30-year-old attacker has hidden the proceeds from a sponsorship with Adidas, which had been signed shortly before transferring to Chelsea in 2014, according to El Mundo.

International Spanish suffered an injury on Saturday within a friendly game between Atlético Madrid and Juventus ( 1 –  2 ), anyway he will not be able to play next Sunday against Getafe in the first round of La Liga, because he has to not play eight games due to the suspension he received last April, after insulting the referee.
